How My Group Classes Work
My group classes run on Zoom in small groups of no more than nine students, so everyone gets heard and nobody gets lost in the crowd.
Each two-hour session follows the same proven structure. We start with grammar, vocabulary, or a language point - I explain it, you ask questions, and I make sure everyone has genuinely understood before we move on. Then we shift into speaking practice in breakout rooms, where I go from group to group - correcting, contributing, and pushing you to use what you’ve just learnt in real conversation.
Every mistake you make in class is noted in the chat alongside the correct version, so you can see exactly what went wrong and why. After each class, I compile everything into a PDF and send it to you - so you have a permanent record of your progress and a personalised revision tool you can return to again and again.
I use that same record to shape the next class.
Nothing is generic.
Everything is built around you and your classmates.
Some of my students have been with me for three or four years. By that point, their English isn’t just accurate - it’s personal. They have their own style, their own voice, and their own relationship with the language. One of my students arrived at A2 level and now conducts psychotherapy sessions with native English speakers.
